SWAL Engineering Ltd. is a Structural Engineering & Concrete Consultancy located in Essex & Sheffield established in 2018, becoming an incorporated company in 2021. We are run by Chartered Structural Engineers and concrete specialists.

 

SWAL Engineering Ltd. has been appointed by corporate and private developers, contractors, architects, steelwork fabricators and private clients. We design and supervise projects in the residential, commercial, education, retail and industrial sectors.

We are passionate about good engineering & design, applying our expertise from the simplest to the most complex challenges. Put simply, we enjoy working with people and love what we do.

Our expertise spans across projects of all types, from private homes to high-rise structures, housing developments to town centre regeneration. We have worked on temporary, new and historic structures drawing on the very latest in design techniques and sustainable materials.

Prior to forming SWAL Engineering our principle Engineer & Designer has been responsible for a vast number of projects of up to £75m in value, including mid - high rise residential & mixed-use schemes incorporating large basements along with large housing developments of over 200 units. SWAL Engineering has a vast experience working with local & statutory authorities, with experience in building close to highways and building over buried assets such as rail tunnels, main sewers and service tunnels. 

 

We are proud that the vast majority of our work is from relationships with existing clients and/or through architects, surveyors and contractors with whom we have built successful working relationships based on quality of work. New clients are always welcome and we are constantly looking to increase our client book.

No job is too small, we are always happy to provide advice, structural calculations and drawings for domestic extensions, alterations and loft conversions.
